We consider Casa Smegster at Palm Beach 2, Alcossebre on The Costa Del Azahar, Spain to be our home away from home. Based at the southern tip of Alcossebre and 800 metres from the nearest beach this two bedroom fully equipped town house is perfect for a family with children or mature couples.
Alcossebre sits on the east coast of Spain often referred to as 'The Orange Blossom Coast'.
Alcossebre boasts many restaurants offering fine local cuisine and, of course Tapas, along with a good selection of many other European choices. Activities include fishing, diving, horse riding, squash, snorkeling, and Mini Golf. The beaches are equipped with football pitches, volleyball nets and play areas and also offer the opportunity to hire pedlos, windsurfers, scuba diving, jet-skis and sailing all available in season.
In addition to the impressive 5 Blue Flag beaches, there is the natural beauty of the Maestrat nature reserve amongst others to enjoy. Casa Smegster is a few minutes by car, from a wide range of tourist attractions and festivals. Its an hour away from Port Ventura theme park (Spain's Universal Studios), 25 Min's Go Karting, 25 mins Marina d'or, 90 Min's Valencia Moto GP and Valencias F1 in 2008 and 30 Min's Aqua Marina Water Park, 15 Min's Morello Adventure Circuit and 3 golf courses within a 30 minute drive. This includes Panoramica, Mediterraneo and Club de golf Azahar
The closest supermarket and restaurant is a 5 minute drive or a leisurely 15 minute stroll.
For those wishing not to venture to far from the accommodation, you will find the terrace to the property has a gate leading to a path which leads directly to the pool. You can see your children playing in the pool while relaxing on the terrace. Palm Beach is a gated complex for added safety.
